The leading global automaker, Hyundai Motor Company, has upscaled its presence in the metaverse by introducing new futuristic mobility experiences within its Hyundai Motorstudio on the ZEPETO metaverse platform. The virtual space enables users to interact with each other and participate in several activities using their avatars. The platform has soared in popularity, especially amongst the millennials and Gen Z.

The company unveiled its first virtual Motorstudio within Downtown (Future) on ZEPETO last year and is now adding another floor of exhibition space to the studio to host more advanced activities. The virtual environment incorporates numerous future mobility experiences, such as the S-A1 advanced air mobility, the S-Link purpose-built mobility, and the S-Hub future mobility transit center.

The first floor of the virtual exhibition center is an impression of the interior and exterior of Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul. ZEPETO users can use this space to watch the campaign film for Hyundai’s IONIQ EV, featuring ‘I’m On It’ by BTS. Posters of the Hyundai x BTS Earth Day campaign ‘For Tomorrow, We Won’t Wait’ has also been put up in the exhibition hall.

The newly-created second floor showcases the miniatures of the S-A1. Visitors can also try on or purchase pieces from the Re: Style collection, the company’s eco-friendly upcycled clothing line. In the Downtown (Future), ZEPETO users can take a tour of the S-Hub future mobility transit center, go for a ride on the S-A1 urban air mobility vehicle, and check out the three concepts of the S-Link purpose-built mobility – a clinic, party room, and a food truck.

The company became the first in the automotive industry to provide a virtual test drive experience in the metaverse. In June last year, Hyundai collaborated with ZEPETO to facilitate the experience for its Sonata N-line.
