Vuzix a provider of smart glasses and AR tech and products, has announced that Scandinavian Health (SHL Group) has started deploying Vuzix smart glasses to offer remote support services.

Per Vuzix, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, SHL Group auditors are expected to quarantine for 2 weeks, making it difficult and more costly to perform audits. Using Vuzix’s hands-free smart glasses, SHL Group employees can support audits remotely via peer-to-peer video calling over the smart glasses. Also, with Vuzix smart glasses, technical employees can be trained remotely.
