Disney and LucasFilm are developing a new Star Wars animated series. According to reports, there will be 3 new Star Wars series and a Star Wars VR Game. The VR game will be based on prominent Star Wars characters as announced in the campaign.

One of the three new series will be based on “Star Wars: The High Republic.” Earlier in the year, LucasFilm started a new ad campaign – Star Wars: The High Republic. This is set in the era when the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic are at their peak, which is about 180+ years before the Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’s events started. It concentrates on new avatars, even though a younger Yoda will make a special appearance.

There are different projects which are part of this Star Wars campaign. These include novels, comics, children’s books, TV series, and virtual reality games. The novel and comics series will be launched in early 2021. There is also a report of a High Republic in the future action series.
