HP announced that the company plans to release the Reverb G2 VR headset in November to pre-order customers. Reverb G2 VR uses the dual 2160×2160 per eye displays and connects them with technology obtained from Valve’s Index VR headset.
Along with shipping, HP also stated that the final version of the Reverb 2 would have new upgrades from the pre-production versions. HP changed the menu button on the controllers in extension to the updated lenses, making it user friendly. The solution needs additional power, so the Reverb G2 will add a wall plug to hand the additional power draw.
HP stated that customers who pre-ordered Reverb G2 should expect to get it in November.
