NexTech AR Solutions Corp recently appointed AR specialist Ori Inbar to its board of directors. NexTech, which is based in New York and Toronto, provides AR for e-com businesses, AR in Chat, InfernoAR virtual events, AR University for education, among others.
The company mentioned that Inbar, who has been in the augmented reality industry for more than ten years as both a startup and as a venture capital investor (SuperVentures), is rightly positioned to lead NexTech on its growth path and identify possible acquisition opportunities.
Ori Inbar in 2019 was the CEO and co-founder of Ogmento was renamed Flyby Media, and later acquired by Apple. In 2012, Inbar started AugmentedReality.org, an NGO.
“I’m excited to lend my 14 years’ experience in the AR industry at the moment it’s exploding to one of the few pure-AR companies that are public,” Ori Ibar, on appointment.
