According to MacRumors Apple is working on an electric car that could be launched between 2023 and 2025. Working in a secret lab named SG5 in Sunnyvale, California, designers are hard at finishing Project Titan. Since 2014, Apple is working on car manufacturing, and self-driving project.

Apple Insider shows features like an anti-glare windshield system, driver disengagement reporting, a skid detection system, a specialized airbag system, and smart seat belts to control CarPlay devices, and crash avoidance.

Per a new application marked Dynamic Element Protection, the vehicle will have a security system that decreases hazards to the passengers by using intelligent support and vehicle sensor data. The vehicle will determine if there is a trajectory close by and restrict the doors’ operation so that passengers will be inside until the particle passes.

In another patent, an AR display system, Apple hints building an AR display built on transparent surfaces, like a windshield. The system would display unseen road hazards, speed notifications, road signs, and GPS routes.

Apple suggests building a virtual reality system complete with a VR headset to help passengers with motion sickness.

The possible Apple electric car could hit the road between 2023 and 2025.
