The Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series Special Edition will release on the 18th of June 2021 for the Playstation VR. The Special Retail Edition will include additional features for players like digital artbooks with unreleased behind-the-scenes footage, the Droid Companion, concept art, and collectible physical postcards.
The VR Series was created and published by Perp Games, LucasFilm Story Group, and ILMxLAB. Perp Games is a video game developer with a catalog of video games, including successful indie game titles. While ILMxLAB is the immersive entertainment studio arm of LucasFilm that targets storytelling through VR experiences. Vader Immortal series is an official part of the Star Wars galaxy.
Vader Immortal gives gamers the chance to get inside the Star Wars-themed universe where players, in the character of a smugger working around Mustafar, is pulled into hyperspace and given the task of exploring a mystery on behalf of the Sith Lord.
Players can master the Force and sharpen their lightsaber skills in the Training Dojo of Vader.
