One of the best virtual reality titles for building puzzles and intricate rube goldberg machines, Gadgeteer, is set to debut on the PlayStation VR. Metanaut, the developer, has announced a launch date for the platform.
Gadgeteer presents two gameplay modes, called Puzzle and Maker. The Puzzle Mode offers 60 pre-made puzzles, which gradually introduce new players to the various mechanics. In addition, the game comprises a vast range of gadgets along with four tools to create, clone, paint, and destroy the elaborate machines you might end up building.
However, the Maker Mode is free of any restrictions and provides you a free rein to create twisting domino runs, towering marble runs, or even a mash-up of both without the real-world fear of setting a sequence off early. Additionally, the Online Sharing feature enables you to showcase your designs, whether a machine or an intricate puzzle.
Back in 2019, it was said about the platform in a review, “Gadgeteer isn’t going to be for everyone, much like being a watchmaker. It’s finicky, time-consuming, and puzzling all at the same time. They’re also the reasons why Gadgeteer is a puzzle gem for Oculus Quest.”
Gadgeteer is all set to make its debut on PlayStation VR on 25th May 2021. Metanaut has released a fantastic new trailer with an elaborate machine and plenty of nods to the PlayStation platform to mark the occasion.
