Spectral TMS, a French autonomous AR startup for the industrial sector, has received €2 million in seed funding. Spectral TMS founded in 2018 streamlines the transmission and distribution of industrial knowledge by using AR solution which trains and guides industrial experts while maintenance, operation, and production.
The solution uses Microsoft’s mixed reality goggles Hololens 2 and feed digital information across the expert’s field of vision.
“The industrial sector has accelerated its digital transformation to enter into The New Era of Industry 4.0 and the coronavirus pandemic has only added to the skills gap problem. Spectral TMS’ Augmented Reality Solution enables its customers to reach operational excellence around the world by promoting the sharing and transfer of knowledge, training, and process digitalization. We are proud to accompany Spectral TMS in this phase of commercial acceleration and deployment on a European scale.” – Cédric Favier, Venture Partner at Elaia
Within one year, the startup has worked on around 20 pilot projects with various industrial accounts. Per the company, the seed funds raised will be used to continue the development of its augmented solution.
