Samsung India introduced the seventh Samsung AR and VR Innovation Lab at IIT-Jodhpur to prepare students on Augmented and Virtual Reality and prepare them for future jobs.

The course will include AR, VR, and Mixed Reality, emphasizing touch, taste, haptics, smell, interfaces, robotic, and telepresence.
“As AR and VR are finding applications in diverse fields like education, industrial design, robotics, infrastructure management, and medicine, students of different programs of the institute including those of Medical Technology can take advantage of this facility,” said Santanu Chaudhury, Director IIT Jodhpur.
It is a 14-week program through classroom lectures, lab room sessions, self-study, and mini-projects. IIT-Jodhpur professors and Samsung engineers will carry it out.
