The award-winning retail technology agency, Reality Interactive, announced the launch of new AR solutions to enable retailers to deliver immersive experiences to their customers.
The objective of the AR solutions is to help retailers shorten the purchase journey and increase conversion. For instance, the Reality Virtual Product Placement will empower brands to allow customers to experience ownership of the product before purchasing. Reality’s AR Customization Tool will help brands localize eCommerce experiences to augment brick and mortar sales.
The company had recently deployed an AR experience for a large spa manufacturer. It enabled the customers to choose any spa model, pick from a range of color combinations, and envision their customized spa at any spot around their house using augmented reality.
After trying different combinations and choosing one of their likings, customers could connect with a local dealer to execute the purchase or clarify any doubts. The app received 13,500 initial downloads, with over 27,000 virtual spas created by users.
“The pandemic accelerated the need for brands to execute digital transformation strategies and look to technologies such as AR,” said Jeremy Brazeal, Creative Director at Reality Interactive. “A well thought out AR experience helps customers understand what they’re buying, which we know leads to higher post-purchase satisfaction.”
