The AI and AR beauty and fashion company, Perfect Corp., has unveiled its new AR Watch Virtual Try-On powered by the latest proprietary AgileHandTM technology. The solution offers an ultra-smooth 3D try-on experience with high-resolution textures and reflections that deliver true-to-life virtual effects for timepieces.
The company’s patent-pending AgileHand® technology is powered by state-of-the-art AI algorithms and trained on PBR (Physically Based Rendering) 3D hand models. It lets the tech map a full range of gestures, facilitating high-performance hand tracking. The 3D models incorporate a wide range of skin tones and textures and varied hand and finger sizes to cater to a diverse set of differentiators and traits to act as a truly universal solution that works for everybody.
AgileHand® possesses the capability of facilitating instantaneous virtual try-on experiences without any physical touchpoints to calibrate the camera. The technology can determine wrist size and enables shoppers to view a watch face, watchstrap, and buckle, for a comprehensive augmented reality timepiece virtual try-on experience.
“We are excited to expand our offerings to begin serving the luxury timepiece industry with the launch of AR Watch Virtual Try-On and the debut of our proprietary AgileHand® technology,” said Perfect Corp. Founder and CEO, Alice Chang.
“Our AI and AR-powered solutions continue to serve both brands and consumers, delivering immersive and impactful shopping experiences that increase purchasing confidence and customer satisfaction. We are thrilled to release cutting-edge hand mapping technology that will help our solutions serve an even broader client base and aid consumers in their timepiece shopping journey.”
