Kerala-based ed-tech startup HomeSkul has introduced a new e-learning application featuring artificial intelligence and augmented reality-powered learning experiences for students.

The platform features a plethora of content curated by faculty and subject experts for CBSE and state board students. The company will also offer live classes on a two-way interactive smart classroom platform using AR technology.

HomeSkul Founder and CEO Jaganathan Ram said, “Innovation in quality content, pedagogical approach and affordability are the key factors that make HomeSkul unique. The classes are handled by trained subject experts with more than a decade of teaching experience and not by presenters. We are providing rich content with concept building and reinforcement through real-life examples. Short notes, mind map for preparing for examinations, interactive video classes that ensure student’s attention in the class, chapter-wise revision videos are some of the unique features of HomeSkul.”

The application has an assisted learning feature that allows for easy clearing of doubts and questions during and after the live sessions. It also packs an extensive e-library of study materials and chapter-wise revision videos that would assist students during the last-minute preparation for exams.

The app is currently available in English and Malayalam, with a Hindi version in the works. The company plans to add several other languages to accomplish a pan-India reach. HomeSkul caters to students from the 8th to 12th standard of CBSE and competitive exams such as NEET and JEE.

The company also plans to innovate further with features that can monitor health and allow for portability and accessibility of HomeSkul content across other devices such as Smart TV and wearable gadgets.
