Bühler Group through TeamViewer has the choice of configuring and commissioning the systems remotely, for example, the current COVID-19 pandemic, which can lead to travel restrictions or in the case of geographical challenges in crisis scenarios. Bühler Group by using TeamViewer can fulfill supply deals without any interruption and at the same time can ensure production cycles at clients in more than 140 countries.
The conditional access functionality inserted in Tensor was pivotal in the decision to use TeamViewer’s Tensor. This leads to critical infrastructure being monitored and managed centrally from the HQ at Bühler. TeamViewer’s functionality in remote areas with weak internet bandwidth was also a key measure for the software implementation.
Apart from Tensor, the company also uses TeamViewer’s AR solution on smart glasses for training and knowledge transfer on construction sites and also in manufacturing. Both situations significantly reduce the need for travel.
