Vuzix Corporation, one of the leading suppliers of Augmented Reality and Smart Glasses and products, has announced that they have received an initial order of around $400,000 for Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses.
Vuzix has received this order from a US-based insurance and financial services company which is also a Fortune 100 company. Vuzix received this deployment order after more than 17 months of piloting. The order is expected to be delivered immediately, with the potential for following orders in the short term with the customer planning to expand its application of smart glasses.
The insurance and financial industry has been an active user of innovative technologies over the last few years to enhance profitability and streamline operations. Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses will be utilized by the insurance company’s army of insurance agents to assist them in the field when they are obtaining and analyzing claim-related data.
Vuzix M400 Smart Glasses’s HD phase detect autofocus camera with zoom control which is most suited to capture and store clear pictures and 4K video for processing all claims.
