Meadow House Nursing Home in Norfolk will be providing virtual reality technology for its care home residents, who now can experience rollercoasters, skydiving, and much more from their rooms.

The care home has received VR equipment, which will allow its residents to have new experiences.

Meadow House Nursing Home could bring in this new technology because of donations it received from families and friends of the residents in the community of Swaffham, along with a fundraising activity.

“It’s been fantastic seeing the residents using this fabulous new technology, which allows them to enjoy such unusual and immersive experiences. It may be in a virtual way, but providing these experiences really means a lot to our residents and makes things possible in a completely new and vivid way.” – Joanna Jankowska, Home Manager.
