Saudi Arabia to become home to a novel virtual reality experience in Riyadh Park Mall created through a collaboration between Majid Al Futtaim and Dreamscape, a leading immersive virtual reality entertainment provider.
The opening marks three years of Dreamscape’s premiere in the Middle East at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai.
The entertainment concepts Vox Cinemas, Yalla! Bowling, and Magic Planet from Majid Al-Futtaim are integrated with Dreamscape Saudi Arabia. Four free-roaming and free-flying virtual reality experiences are available, each taking viewers to a new degree of curiosity.
Numerous dignitaries, including Prince Bandar bin Khalid F Al Saud, President of Unified Real Estate Development, attended the opening ceremony. Senior management across the Majid Al Futtaim organization, including Alain Bejjani, Majid Al Futtaim Holding’s CEO, Country Head for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment, Cinemas and Lifestyle, Ignace Lahoud, Majid Al Futtaim Leisure’s CEO, Entertainment & Cinemas and Mohamed Al Hashemi, Joe Abi Akl, the Chief Corporate Development Officer for Majid Al Futtaim Holding and Aaron Grosky, President and COO of Dreamscape were also a part of the event.
The company established the immersive VR destination in 2017. It is supported by some of Hollywood’s most well-known studios and artists, such as 21st Century Fox, Steven Spielberg, Viacom, Hans Zimmer, and WarnerMedia.
