Varjo Joins Forces with Lenovo for Market Expansion in the UAE

Augmented and virtual reality headset manufacturer, Varjo, has joined forces with Lenovo to launch the VR-3 and XR-3 devices in the UAE. The companies aim to provide several industries, including aviation and space training and simulation, research, oil and gas, medical, and remote collaboration, a single point of purchase for workstations and VR/XR headsets.

“Current global circumstances have accelerated the need for high-fidelity immersive tools. Together with our local resellers, Varjo can now support advanced virtual, augmented, and mixed reality use cases in UAE,” said Seppo Aaltonen, the chief commercial officer of Varjo.

Varjo’s XR-3 allows users to maximize their performance within a fully immersive environment through human-eye resolution at over 60 ppd, a 115° field of view, integrated eye, and Ultraleap (formerly Leap Motion) hand tracking, inside-out tracking, and pixel-perfect mixed reality depth awareness.

The devices will be showcased at the Finland Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai on October 31 and during the GITEX conference at Lenovo’s booth from October 17 to 21.
