The pioneering virtual reality software technology company, Modus VR, has introduced its Modus-as-a-Service for technology integrators, designers, and architects. The company had previously demonstrated its new offering during InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas.

As per the company, MaaS will enable residential and commercial integrators, consultants, and enterprises to harness the complete capabilities of the Modus VR planning and design software through a much more convenient per-project model.

The users do not need to make an expensive hardware investment or hire an expert. They can simply deploy the Modus VR platform for meetings to facilitate turnkey, real-time immersive design work and gather the output of the relevant accompanying project deliverables.

The Modus VR client service specialists can join client meetings through any video conferencing software, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The personnel can interact with the complete VR design of the customer’s residential or commercial space, respond to their creative ideas, and curate an area of their liking, all within Modus VR’s 3D environment.

The platform enables the attendees to observe their entire space in real-time and make an informed decision to arrive at a favorable output for the project. As a result, integrators, clients, and trade partners can focus on smaller parts of the project, such as display sizes, accessories placement, smart home functionality, and more. Modus VR can also demonstrate more complex characteristics, such as camera views, optimum screen size, furniture placement, and more.

“The magic of our new Modus-as-a-Service offering lies in the ability for the integrator and their customers to focus on their creativity, idea sharing, and solving problems, while we do the design work alongside them in our 3D environment,” said Ken Brueck, co-founder of Modus VR.

The service would enable integrators to reap all the benefits of virtual reality tech offered by Modus VR without making any hardware investments. They can set up host meetings with their customers, and Modus VR experts will help them facilitate the entire process.
