To facilitate the streaming of the Sansar Metaverse and Source Activated Moments (SAMs) within the Sansar metaverse across a worldwide home entertainment footprint, Source Digital, Inc. and Sansar signed a collaboration with Blacknut, the world’s top pure-player cloud gaming service geared toward the general public.
Starting in 2023, Smart TV owners can access the Sansar activated by Source APP on their devices to watch live events and concerts while exploring mixed reality events that will co-exist between the physical world and the metaverse. With the help of their advanced remote controls or gaming controllers, users can also discover other metaverse worlds, play games, watch and shop, gather information, and interact with brands.

Blacknut has understood the significance of removing all hardware restrictions to democratize interactive entertainment for the general public.
“With our new partnership with Source Digital, Blacknut extends its exclusive cloud gaming solution to virtualize Metaverse experiences and bring Sansar on any connected screens,” said Olivier Avaro, CEO at Blacknut.
Sansar enables a pop-up whenever there is a coordinating Source Activated Moment (SAM) as a user streams an event or program on their device with Blacknut operating in the background. With just one tap, the user can “fall” into an alternate reality and use their smart remote to play the game or return to the TV program.
After a European patent established Source as a Web3 Network of Networks, this collaboration will allow SAMs to operate globally in the US and European markets. Source technology facilitates seamless, contextually relevant SAMs based on each user’s activities and interactions within the metaverse worlds, enabling Source partners to deliver product advertisements, songs for purchase, or coupons for a nearby restaurant or retail establishment, all within the metaverse platform.
