The publicly-traded blockchain technology company, Tokens.com, announced that its subsidiary, Metaverse Group, has inked an agreement with the virtual reality company, Emperia, to create VR experiences and virtual storefronts for fashion brands in the metaverse.

The two entities aim to jointly develop unique virtual reality experiences in virtual storefronts to help the brands disseminate their narrative through interactive, immersive experiences. The goal is to set up a robust, frictionless process to help fashion and art retailers establish a retail store in the metaverse.

The partnership will leverage Metaverse Group’s diverse virtual real estate portfolio spanning several metaverses. Emperia will deploy its virtual reality technology to create virtual stores, allowing retailers to expand their presence and deliver value to users in the metaverse.

Emperia has created virtual reality stores for several luxury brands within the fashion domain and beyond. The company had recently launched a new SaaS solution to provide fashion brands and retailers complete creative control over product placement and space decor within their virtual stores.

The Metaverse Fashion Week, hosted by the Metaverse Group, showcased excellent results in terms of connecting store guests to the brand with an average interaction time of 27 minutes. The partnership with Emperia would help the company introduce new virtual reality experiences to help brands deepen this connection and take the customer interactions to another level.

“This partnership is a step in the right direction to advance our service offerings in the metaverse and continue to be a one-stop-shop for all things metaverse,” said Lorne Sugarman, CEO of Metaverse Group.

Emperia is on a mission to transform the retail industry through its metaverse-focused offerings. The partnership will give the company access to Metaverse Group’s expansive virtual real estate portfolio, allowing retailers to expand and diversify their virtual presence.
