The release of Anatomage VR, a virtual reality application that allows users to explore Anatomage’s real human bodies in the metaverse, was recently announced by Anatomage Inc., a global leader in medical imaging technology.
Consider having the ability to look right through the person in front of you. While looking at them, you can peel back the skin and view their muscle and tissue while examining their body. Their arteries and veins, which carry blood throughout their body, are visible. You can fly inside the heart’s chambers to feel how the various cardiac structures interplay to cause the heart to beat. With Anatomage VR, you have this superpower in the metaverse.
Anatomage has provided the most comprehensive, accurate, and interactive human anatomy tool on the market with the Anatomage Table since the company’s founding in 2004. The current version of Anatomage, Anatomage VR, successfully incorporates the same flagship technology.
Anatomage VR allows students to explore the most realistic human anatomy in the world through a virtual reality headset. It was created to go along with accredited high school anatomy and life science programs. Anatomage VR is a seamless complement to the Anatomage Table, but it may also be purchased separately and utilized in the classroom.
With Anatomage VR, students can interact with highly detailed male and female human cadavers from the Anatomage Table, see more than 2,500 anatomical structures in each digital body and watch 71 animated anatomy shows to examine anatomical regions in 3D. Additionally, they can use quizzing models to boost student engagement and access, modify, and incorporate 536 presets into curriculum-focused anatomy lessons. They can also simulate flythroughs to travel through 10 regions of the human body endoscopically.
“As the world continues to embrace new virtual reality experiences, we are excited to bring Anatomage’s world-class anatomy content to the metaverse. With Anatomage VR, students can engage with anatomy learning in a never before seen way through the cutting-edge world of VR,” said Jack Choi, CEO of Anatomage.
