As visiting a dealership has gotten significantly more complicated, Ford has built an augmented reality tool to see what the 2021 F-150 would look like in the driveway of a customer without them having to leave their home.

The tool works reasonably well and lets customers resize the F-150 so that they can see how it would work in spaces where it otherwise would not fit. And it lets them pretend that have a toy-sized F-150.

The 2021 F-150, released in June 2020 and received some updates, including worksite-oriented features in the cab and on the updated tailgate and a new hybrid powertrain. It is expected to reach dealer lots towards the end of 2020 and start at around $30,000.
