The immersive 3D social platform enabling creatives to build their online worlds, collaborate, and share digital experiences, Spatial, has introduced the Spatial Creator Toolkit powered by Unity.
According to Spatial, by enabling digital designers and architects to publish high-quality images and interactive spaces across mobile, desktop, and virtual reality in one click, the new toolkit significantly reduces friction for them. Creations that once might have required days to perfect can now be completed in seconds thanks to ready-made elements. The most recent Spatial toolkit enables users to interact with and play in their immediate surroundings.
Spatial brings high-quality visuals with quick load times and no downloads or installations needed directly to the web browser using Unity’s SDK. The company anticipates that the new toolkit will promote fresh creativity and platform-wide game-level development.
“Making immersive platforms easy and accessible for anyone to come in and start building, without prior knowledge in digital design, has always been an important factor in making Spatial the inclusive and open metaverse it is today,” said Jinha Lee, CPO and co-founder at Spatial.
This toolkit will offer opportunities for designers to create fascinating experiences quickly. For instance, with the most recent updates, users can build real-time multiplayer experiences that let fans shoot goals on the FIFA World Cup pitch.
“Creating professional-grade lighting would previously have taken a trained designer at least two days to achieve, and now anyone can do it in a click of a button,” said Anand Agarawala, CEO and co-founder at Spatial.
Spatial also announced its integration with Sketchfab, giving users access to the most extensive library of 3D models and objects in the world for a more adaptable and creative experience when interacting with 3D models within the platform.
According to Spatial, it is quickly evolving into one of the most active immersive social platforms allowing creators to build, share, and connect with the communities important to them, with over 500,000+ creators, two million users, and 127 million hours spent on the platform over the last 12 months.
