Pokemon Go now has a new augmented reality mapping feature that will reveal up on some PokeStops. It will allow gamers to explore the area physically around a PokeStop to complete the task. The augmented reality mapping feature was announced in May, and it is now available in the game.

The developers of the game Niantic shows how players can now get interactive assignments from some PokeStops. After receiving the assignment, players will have to use the augmented reality scanning screen to scan around them. Players are required to investigate the area around them or a different PokeStop within a specific radius. Once the assignment is completed, players are rewarded. There will be just one augmented reality mapping task per day per PokeStop.
