Gucci Beauty releases Augmented Reality game on Snapchat

Gucci Beauty has created a Snapchat Portal AR Lens as part of the its campaign to promote Gucci’s Bloom fragrance products in the US.

The AR portal lens game allows players in the US to walk into the portal and be transferred into the Gucci Bloom Garden of Dreams in a virtual space. Snapchat users can travel through the green labyrinth, looking for the five hidden Bloom fragrances bottle.

The portal highlights flowing fountains and red roses to enhance the experience. When a user finds the hidden perfumes, a shower of red rose petals celebrates the user’s win.

“Especially since we are all spending more time at home and indoors this winter, we hope this virtual ‘escape’ brings a little joy and springtime fun to our fans.” – Gucci Statement 

Gucci has earlier created a range of AR lenses including a G-Timeless watch try-on and a Gucci shoe try-on on Snapchat.
