Perfect Corporation, a beauty tech solution provider, has announced that the company has launched YouCam Video, a new video editing app, at the 2021 CES (Consumer Electronics Show). YouCam Video is developed on the company’s artificial intelligence-powered AR makeover technology from its YouCam Makeup app. YouCam Video permits users to edit portrait-style footage with makeup, add video effects, and reshape facial features on selfie videos.
The YouCam Makeup app allows flawless makeup for selfies, and now the YouCam Video app will provide a similar feature for videos. AR makeup powered by Perfect Corp’s patented AgileFace tracking tech considers user’s facial features to provide detailed and natural-looking virtual makeovers. All the makeup edits are applied in real-time.
YouCam Video’s essential features include:
- Many instant makeup styles for users to try out, like eyeshadow, lipstick, eyebrows, blush, eyelashes, and eyeliner
- Retouch and reshape tools for videos, including face slimming, as well as skin smoothing, nose, lip fine-tuning, and eye
- Hair colors in a range of colors and styles
