“Our north star has always been about democratizing AR to allow as many people as possible to create value through this facilitating technology. That’s a lofty goal, but standing here ten years into that mission, I think we can be proud of the total platform solution that we’ve created that delivers the breadth and depth of expertise and tools required for any organization to really take full advantage of deploying a camera capability. We’ve built a unique business in the interlocking pillars of our company that bring our class-leading consultancy & creative studio, award-winning platform and tools through our proprietary software, and the world’s most affordable 6DoF MR headset and hardware solution all under one roof. This summit is a celebration of that achievement and the pioneering work of our partners and community.” – Caspar Thykier, CEO and Founder, Zappar.
Zappar was founded in 2011 and launched the ‘ZapWorks’ platform in 2013. The platform provides developers and creators with the tools required to build augmented reality experiences without any coding experience. Zappar recently launched the ZapBox, a mixed reality tool kit for developers to create 6DoF experiences. Zappar’s clients include Rovio and 7-Eleven, Nestle, among others.
