Spinar America partners with Epson to deliver AR remote assistance through Zoom for hybrid and remote work environments

Epson, the developer of the Moverio AR smart glasses platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Spinar America. Epson and Spinar America are initiating augmented reality remote assistance and partnership experiences through easy-to-use and innovative tools.

By using Spinar America’s “Remote Vision” and Epson Moverio augmented reality smart glasses with Zoom video conferencing, companies can provide remote expertise to see what an on-field technician sees and provide real-time visual assistance.

Catering to both remote and hybrid workplaces, the solution enables companies to accelerate repairs and minimize errors, reduced travel costs, leading to enhanced productivity, and increased customer satisfaction. Using the Moverio augmented reality smart glasses, Spinar software which is powered by Zoom for the real-time association between on-site personnel and remote experts, users can collaborate, join, interact, and voice command with content via hands-free communication without the logistics of getting everybody in the same room and cost.
