Porsche, has partnered with Viscopic, a start-up in AR function, to avoid errors when assembling electric drives. The AI solution helps ensure the accurate installation of EV drive systems.

According to Porsche, the aim of this partnership is to collectively produce a solution based on computer vision. Porsche produced a digital ‘poka-yoke’ – a technique used in phone SIM cards where the SIM can be injected in one way.
Using this digital solution, engineers can access troubleshooting manuals and instructions that help these employees when performing their work.
