Nextech AR Solutions announced that it hired Zak Mcleod formerly of Fastly as Senior Director of Sales – EMEA. The leading provider of virtual and augmented reality experience technologies also roped in Rory Ganness formerly of Salesforce.com CRM as Director of Enterprise Sales – North America.

The new Senior Sales Directors will help the company establish itself as a market-leading partner for all things augmented reality across the globe. They will bring Nextech’s platform and tools to markets such as higher education, eCommerce, virtual events, financial services, and healthcare by facilitating large client acquisitions across these domains.

Zak Mcleod was Senior Sales Director (EMEA) at Fastly, a premier edge cloud computing solution. He worked on rebuilding the company’s media, broadcast, and entertainment verticals from scratch and also introduced them to the UK and other European markets.
