LlamaZOO Interactive, a Spatial business intelligence, and 3D data visualization company, has declared the launch of EasyAnatomy 2020, an augmented reality anatomy app. The app EasyAnatomy emphasizes a medically accurate 3D canine form, that professors, professionals, and students can use for reference on smartphones, laptops, etc.

EasyAnatomy enables students to dissect, study, and learn through virtual in augmented reality from their homes. Even with access to classes and dissection labs being limited, veterinary students can still experience canine dissection.

The EasyAnatomy content has been developed in association with anatomy and veterinary professors and educational institutions and is based on MRI, and CT imaging. As such, professors can conduct virtual lab classes. LlamaZOO said that an updated interface would make the app more intuitive to zoom, explore, rotate, and virtually dissect canine anatomy.

Students can take interactive quizzes because of the artificial intelligence algorithm, which has more than 700 questions.

“EasyAnatomy is a way to learn and view anatomy that simply isn’t possible anywhere else” – Dr. Rachel Norris, Head of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Adelaide.

“We’re always innovating in 3D technology, but with EasyAnatomy we’re also innovating in education. We’re really providing new ways to learn. EasyAnatomy 2020 makes anatomy easier to explore and understand, and in turn makes tomorrow’s vets more knowledgeable and able to save the lives of more of our furry friends and companions”. – LlamaZOO CEO and President, Charles Lavigne.
