Visitors to the Liangzhu Museum can now experience artifacts transformed into life using augmented reality where visitors are handed A.R. glasses. Since 1st of November, AR glasses have been used at the Liangzhu Museum’s guided tours, making the museum a pathfinder using augmented reality glasses in China.
From pottery to exquisite jade artifacts, the museum exhibits various burial objects which are found in the Liangzhu City’s Archaeological Ruins. It highlights the civilization of ancient rice agriculture and society between 3300 B.C. and 2,300 B.C. The site entered the UNESCO World Heritage List in the month of July 2019, which provides compelling data that Chinese civilization started around 5,000 years ago.
