The Shanghai-based virtual reality device manufacturer, DPVR, has inked a strategic partnership with the South African educational software provider XRGlobal. Through the partnership, DPVR will provide XRGlobal with customized VR software and hardware along with after-sale services.
DPVR offers VR solutions for businesses, product development, and manufacturing applications. The company already has a widespread established presence through its customers in the United States, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Russia, Brazil, and over 20 other countries.
XRGlobal offers an immersive virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality learning and development platform to facilitate training. The usage of VR and AR has proven to boost engagement and knowledge retention amongst the trainees. Moreover, it presents a safer way to train employees where it might be hazardous or difficult to do in the real world.
