CrimeDoor, the AR app, lets users transform their living room into the jail cell where Jeffrey Epstein, the sex trafficker, hanged himself. CrimeDoor is a new AR app that shows real crime stories.

CrimeDoor includes the Jeffrey Epstein Experience, which lets users find evidence related to the case and come to a judgment about Epstein’s reason for death.

The augmented reality experience starts in the autopsy room with Epstein’s body lying on a table. A little ahead is the jail cell, which is littered with blankets and a pair of shoes.

Epstein made headlines in July 2019 when he was arrested for sexual abuse of young girls. He died while awaiting his trial in his jail cell. Bedsheets were found around Epstein’s neck, and his death was ruled a suicide.

Even though his death was ruled a suicide, CrimeDoor has given conspiracy theorists a chance to see for themselves.

The AR app uses your real-world to overlay augmented reality images and uses doors as ‘portals’ for moving into different crime scene rooms. CrimeDoor also provides users with directions on where to look next.

After investigating Epstein’s body, users can move on to his jail cell.

CrimeDoor promotes itself as a news company, as it intends to partner with media companies to make augmented reality experiences for crime stories.
