With the upcoming congregation of wannabe wizards at Fifth Avenue in New York, the place should ideally be renamed Diagon Alley. A new magical Harry Potter store by Warner Bros. is set to open shop near the Flatiron Building at 935 Broadway on June 3. The three-floor store will span over 15 different themed areas laden with an extensive collection of gadgets from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies.

“It’s been a really tough period in people’s lives, and by opening the Harry Potter store in the heart of New York City, we’re looking forward to bringing some magic back into people’s lives,” said Karl Durrant, VP and General Manager of Warner Bros. Retail Destinations.

The store will also feature an interactive wand table, like Harry at Ollivanders, to allow Potterheads to take their favorite wands on a test run.

Warner Bros. is also planning to add a few virtual reality experiences for fans within the store. One of them, titled ‘Chaos at Hogwarts,’ will feature a visit to the famous wizardry school. Another one will enable the fans to ride their broomsticks like in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

“Thanks to this collaboration, we’re bringing authentic props that come directly from the films and also authentic recreations. From the Harry Potter films, you’ll be able to find Harry’s authentic wand on display, as well as Ron’s, Hermione’s, and Dumbledore’s wands,” Durrant added. “We have the original Golden Snitch, Harry’s broomstick, Tom Riddle’s diary with a basilisk’s fang in the middle of it, and many other items.”
