According to a research report HTC Vive, employees still don’t feel comfortable returning to the office but are growing irritated by the time spent on video conferencing. The report also mentions that VR technology could be the answer to this problem.

58% are ready to use new and innovative technology in their workplace
This 58% implies that there are opportunities to introduce new technology such as virtual reality headsets, which can offer flexibility to work from home while retaining the human touch and interaction. However, before new technologies like VR headsets can be included in an office environment on a full scale, there is a learning curve.
