The pandemic has made nightclubs feel like a thing of the past. But here enters the ‘world’s first virtual nightclub’, Club Qu, which is a result of the creativity of the remarkable minds in the entertainment industry.
A star team of music industry creatives came together to curate an incredible nightclubbing experience set in a virtual reality environment. Club Qu amalgamates a technology-building platform with record label dropping electronic DJ sets and music to create a nightclubbing experience like never before.
The experience is built around a video game that puts the main protagonist, which is you, in the shoes of a dancer. It incorporates everything that you usually would have if you went out, from dealing with bouncers to hanging out in the toilets later with friends.
You can even interact with your friends living in another corner of the world; grab a drink, or go dancing on the main floor with them.
Each participant gets 5,000 clicks per session which enables you to control the environment and adjust effects such as lighting and camera movements.
For the ones who have a never-ending appetite for partying, the developers are also planning to integrate a micro-payments system that would use interaction triggers to make these events accessible for all to join. It would allow the users to top-up their clicks and credits and run the night as per their liking.
