ArtGate Enabling Artists to Connect with Audiences Using VR

The ArtGate VR app presents a pre-pandemic experience for artists to be virtually present at the gallery, catch a glimpse of the fantastic art, and interact with visitors.

The cutting-edge platform emulates the art-viewing experience and bypasses its geographic limitations. It also presents a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their work and interact with a truly international audience joining in from different corners of the world. The app also has a desktop version and streams live on Facebook for those who do not have a VR headset.

The app isn’t currently compatible with partially three-dimensional wall art, but developers are working on the feature and plan to add it to the platform soon.

Danielle Festa will debut her latest series, Mask Yourself, at the 2021 ArtGate International Fair. She has focussed on the act of wearing a face mask, the small piece of fabric that has been connecting the world of late.

She wants to emphasize the opportunity for self-expression, strength, and unity that a face mask can represent for combating this global crisis together at a VR community meet on Friday, April 16, at 4 PM Eastern time.

Artists can now look forward to virtually shaking hands and connecting with new audiences using such state-of-the-art technologies, at least for the foreseeable future as the pandemic lingers on.
