‘Alden’s Reality: The Virtual Reality Concert’ made all of Alden Richards’ fans hover around with joy and also registered the Multimedia Star’s name in history for being the first Filipino artist to perform a virtual reality concert in the Philippines.
Oliver Victor Amoroso, GMA Regional TV and Synergy Vice President and Head, remarked,

On the occasion of the Kapuso actor’s 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry, GMA Network’s sold-out show let Alden celebrate and cherish the moment with his fans all across the globe.
The state-of-the-art technology enabled the viewers to live the excitement of a concert and interact with the star they adore, right from the comforts of their home, safely. The futuristic event also gave them a sneak peek into the possible manner of live shows in the times to come.
The show was modeled around a virtual experience that Alden navigates through with the audience pretending to be his date. He wakes up in his house, takes his date around, and they groove to a few classics that everyone enjoys. A couple of his friends, namely Rodjun and Rayver Cruz, join him to recreate that social atmosphere of the concert.
The concert takes an emotional turn when he starts answering questions as if he’s having a conversation with his date. He’s being vulnerable and discusses the highs and lows of his past and recalls all the fond memories.
Grooving to the beats of BTS’ ‘Dynamite’, performing his latest single ‘Goin’ Crazy’, and pouring his heart into the rendition of ‘God Gave Me You’, he let everyone know that he can still stage those exhilarating performances.
A few of his diehard fans and friends including Sanya Lopez, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, and Betong Sumaya cheered him on at the occasion. The show also included a segment where he looked back on his career as an actor and expressed gratitude towards all his leading ladies.
Undoubtedly, all his fans jumped in to support the iconic actor online and ‘AldensReality’ became the top trending hashtag on Twitter in the Philippines.
