The intuitive virtual reality fitness platform, Supernatural, is introducing a new monthly workout featuring music from several popular artists, such as The Weeknd, Lady GaGa, and Swedish House Mafia. Called the ‘Supernatural Artist Series,’ each workout playlist will feature the choreography tuned to the music of a single artist, starting with pop superstar Katy Perry later this month.
Players will get to choose from two new workouts. The first features Katy Perry tracks’ Roar’ and ‘I Kissed a Girl’ for the boxing workout. Moreover, ‘Unconditionally’ and ‘Teenage Dream’ will get players to smash targets and dodge obstacles in VR on the beat for their flow workout.
“Katy is one of the most electrifying artists of her generation, with empowering anthems that lift fans up,” said Chris Milk, Founder and CEO of Supernatural.
Katy is a known advocate for the LQBTQIA+ community and lives by the kind of self-love and acceptance at the Supernatural community’s core. She is the perfect artist for Supernatural to kick off this new artists series.
The two Katy Perry-themed workouts drop on June 27th to officially mark the onset of the Supernatural Artist Series. Further ahead, the platform will continue to introduce new music from big-name artists every month. For the rest of the year, July belongs to Imagine Dragons, August to The Weeknd, September to Swedish House Mafia, October to Kid Cudi, November to Coldplay, and December to Lady GaGa.
“Music has always been an integral part of Supernatural, and since launch, we’ve been dreaming of ways to empower our athletes to further connect with music from the artists they love,” added Milk.
Supernatural has innovatively deployed virtual reality to help people find joy in movement. Combining that with a playlist curated by a favorite artist takes the entire experience to another level.
