The leading augmented reality and artificial intelligence solutions provider, ThirdEye, announced the beta release of a fully decentralized AR-powered social media network. The platform is built for individual consumers post the successful deployments of the company’s solutions for healthcare, eCommerce, telecom, government, military, and other sectors.

The free, decentralized platform will enable users to exercise complete control over their data instead of it being owned by a central authority. Users could place virtual AR objects in the real world, upload AR data, create groups with their friends, participate in AR calls with virtual annotations, and engage within a digital marketplace to buy and sell virtual goods and NFTs. The platform will also incorporate an app store to add and download third-party apps.

The key differentiator between ThirdEye’s social media network and a conventional platform is that there can be no bans or censorship as the platform will run on a completely transparent code hosted over the blockchain. Additionally, the AR and AI features will help deliver a more immersive social experience to the users.

ThirdEye’s technology uses AI predictive analysis to filter and showcase relevant AR information. For instance, the company’s remote eye platform offers equivalent to 40% operating efficiencies along with environmental benefits.

“ThirdEye was founded on a belief that mixed reality and AI solutions could change life as we know it – from the way we work to how we consume our news to how we enjoy our hobbies,” said Nick Cherukuri, ThirdEye CEO and Founder.

The company has successfully developed and launched products for enterprises. It is now using the feedback obtained through these solutions to create this platform for the consumer space, aiming to provide users control over their own data.
