Fast Travel Games, the Swedish VR studio, has raised $4 million in funding to develop new games.
Based out of Stockholm, Fast Travel Games was founded in 2016 by a group of former EA, DICE, and Rovio veterans to create socially rich virtual reality experiences. The studio in 2017 raised $2.1 million through Series A funding.
Since its inception, the studio has worked on several titles for Oculus, Valve Index, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive hardware, including Budget Cuts 2, Apex Construct, Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife, and The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets.
In a tweet, Fast Travel described that Brightly Ventures led the latest funding, and the funding will be used to build VR games.
