Survios and AMC are launching their VR game, The Walking Dead Onslaught, on 29 September 2020. The game will be accessible on PlayStation VR, Steam VR, and Oculus Rift. Following the digital launch, gamers can get their hands on PlayStation VR physical editions on 13 October in the US, and 2 October in Europe.

The VR Gameplay

Based on AMC’s The Walking Dead series, the VR game is set after their action against the Saviors. In the intuitive single-player Campaign Mode, gamers can take on the role of the crossbow-wielding Daryl Dixon. It accompanies an original campaign story about an unsuccessful supply run. Also, it involves a mysterious encounter with a watchful stranger.

Survios has engineered a new combat system that makes the horrors of the apocalypse hyper-realistic. Gamers can impale, dismember your zombie enemies, and carve. They added many other context-based actions in the VR game, which make its real-motion fights the most advanced by far. Aside from aggressive strikes, gamers can carry out strategic defenses because of their Melee Restraint System. Players can push, grab, and even restrain walkers.

In Scavenger Mode, gamers can pick between various characters, such as Rick, Carol, Daryl, and Michonne.

The Walking Dead Onslaught Edition

It consists of iconic weapons such as Tyreese’s Hammer, Rick’s Mace, The Red Machete, and Lucille. Gamers can purchase it from the PlayStation Store. Gamers can pre-order The Walking Dead Onslaught on Oculus Home, select retailers, and Steam.
