Steam has launched a limited-time sale to explore an open-world adventure, with discounts on VR-compatible titles. It could be an excellent place to start for players looking for a virtual gaming experience.
Steam’s Open World deal is limited in time in contrast to its seasonal events, with discounts available until 31st May 2021. Discounts range from 20% off to almost 80% on a few select VR titles.
Some skirt the line between linear, narrative-based adventures, while others are more open-world. For example, in sci-fi range – No Man’s Sky, Hello Games’ sci-fi epic game, is available for a 50% discount. Another sci-fi game Elite Dangerous, is available for £4.99 with a 75% discount. Star Wars: Squadrons is currently priced at £13.99 with a 60% discount.
In horror-themed games, Endnight Games’ The Forest is on sale for £6.97 with a 55% discount. Finally, there’s Into the Radius VR on the post-apocalyptic front, where players can try and survive the Pechorsk Radius zone. The game comes with a 30% discount of £16.65.
