The Stockland Wetherill Park Shopping Centre is bringing a new immersive experience for its visitors wherein they can paddle with friendly sharks and other underwater sea creatures using augmented reality.

Shoppers at the Stockland Wetherill Park can indulge in the exciting new augmented reality experience for the week until May 30th.

The initiative is a part of the Australian Museum’s touring exhibition Sharks, installed opposite the Big W. Called, Swim with Sharks in Augmented Reality, the experience takes you through the habitat of these remarkable animals in a way you could never imagine.

The augmented reality experience is among several others in the interactive exhibition, including an experience for getting close to a life-size megalodon jaw, admiring the features of a two-meter bull shark, and running your fingers over real shark skin. The exhibition aims to build awareness for protecting these magnificent creatures in the wild.
