The UCCA Centre For Contemporary Art in Chaoyang China has revealed an innovative augmented reality art exhibition. The art exhibition is named “Mirage: Contemporary Art in Augmented Reality.”

The exhibition is arranged in association with Acute Art. It features works that can be viewed through the Acute Art app. Several artists are taking part in the show, including Nina Chanel Abney, KAWS, Olafur Eliasson, Alicja Kwade, Cao Fei, and Darren Bader.

As part of the promotion, Apple has given iPhones for visitors to use within the museum so that everyone attending has an opportunity to view the AR exhibition. Visitors can experience AR through their smartphones, but Acute Art suggests using an iPhone X or above.
