The virtual meetings era has been evolving every few months, with AR filters leading the charge in improving the way users interact when chatting through video streams.

Zoom, which is a leader in the virtual meetings segment, has changed the game by bringing a new type of immersive feature to virtual meetings with Immersive View.

The new immersive feature was launched last Monday and enables Zoom meeting participants to put themselves in a virtual setting together on-screen.

Currently, this new feature allows around 25 users to occupy the same virtual space.

Zoom’s ability to add 25 participant teams to a single virtual room is a powerful means that could totally transform the virtual meeting scene. If there are more than 25 people, then the additional user will show up as a thumbnail.

The new feature is available for free for Windows desktops and Mac OS running Zoom 5.6.3 or higher.
