The Proven Arabia venture and a provider for state-of-the-art emerging technology solutions, Proven Solution, has inked an MoU with Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU) to provide VR-powered immersive learning technology for medical students.

The educational application will be a part of Proven Solution’s more widespread healthcare platform. It will primarily focus on teaching medical students auscultation, a medical method for listening to the internal sounds of the body using a stethoscope.

The students will also go through virtually simulated lab exercises and real-life patient scenarios to enhance their experience. In a more comprehensive, safer virtual environment, the upcoming medical professionals could examine various human organs, such as the lungs or the heart.

Zaid Al Mashari, Group CEO of Proven Arabia, said, “Immersive learning reflects the emergence of new technologies that are shaping and enhancing learnings across the education sector. We realize that higher education is undergoing a massive transition where new technologies are being used to improve skills. At Proven Solution, we are excited to partner with Belarusian State Medical University to introduce interactive and immersive AR and VR lessons in the curriculum and continuously improve the students’ knowledge and provide them with newer ways of learning, with the help of VR technologies.”

“Belarusian State Medical University has always been committed to developing academic models that enhance student experience and outcomes. Our aim is to invest in reshaping the delivery of education so that our students are prepared for a more technologically advanced workplace. Our partnership with Proven Solutions helps strengthen our commitment and enables us to collectively reimagine the use of technology in introducing newer methods of learning,” said Eduard Docenko, Head of Propaedeutics Department at BSMU.
