The leading Indian chocolate bar brand, Nestle Munch, has partnered with four cricket teams to bring an exciting AR-powered experience for their fans during the Indian Premier League. The company has collaborated with Wunderman Thompson India to create an experiential, immersive gaming experience for cricket fans.
The special limited-edition Nestle Munch packs, designed specifically for each team, aim to encourage children to continue crunching with the company of their favorite cricket heroes.
Scannable packs of the product will take the fans on a unique 360° digital experience featuring their favorite team. The experience incorporates several fun cricket-themed games where the customers can score runs to redeem digital rewards, signed merchandise, or even get a chance to attend a virtual meet and greet with the players. They can also take pictures with their favorite players using AR.
The experience leverages augmented reality to take users on a gaming experience filled with hyper-casual games inspired by the cricket season. It comes with exciting takeaways, such as a customized digital jersey, digital posters, and more.
